Kade Smith joined Ascent in 2014 and served in various landman and management roles before becoming Vice President of Land Operations. Prior to joining Ascent, Mr. Smith held numerous land positions at Chesapeake Energy across plays in Ohio, West Virginia, Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. Smith earned numerous Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Finance, Economics and Energy Commerce from Texas Tech University. Kade is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and serves several local AAPL chapters.
